Banana Mango Crunch Oatmeal

Oatmeal is one of my favorite breakfast meals! You can make it  many different ways without being bored with it. Oatmeal keeps you full for a long period of time and it is also budget friendly. Since we are in the summer months, I have been loving this fruity oatmeal that I have been making recently. I purchased Trader Joe’s Instant Mango Oatmeal (I think it’s a seasonal item) and I have been enjoying every bite with the toppings that I have. The oatmeal alone includes whole grain oats, flax, mango, chia, quinoa, and amaranth. The recipe is super easy and fast, you’ll definitely have time to make it in the morning. Interested?

1 Trader Joe’s Instant Mango Oatmeal Pack

1/2 cup of Coconut Milk (optional, you can also use water or your favorite milk)

1 banana

3 blueberries (optional)

1 tablespoon of sliced untoasted unsalted almonds

1 tablespoon of coconut flakes


1. Follow oatmeal cooking instructions on oatmeal packing if needed. I decide to make it over the stove top. Pour coconut milk into a pot. Heat coconut milk on the stove top until it begins to boil.

2. Stir oatmeal into the coconut milk and turn the heat down until it is your preferred consistency.

3. Pour oatmeal into your favorite bowl and place the banana, blueberries, almonds, and coconut flakes toppings on top of your oatmeal.

4. Enjoy!
