Happy summer! The weather is warm and the sun is shining. The windows are down during our car rides, we’re taking vacations, and the pool is the hangout spot. We all have our go-to summer pieces that keep us cool and fly. Check out some of my summer fashion essentials this year.

As long as I can remember, “Bag Lady” was one of my many nicknames. I always carried large purses and I kept all of my essentials in there. You name it, I had it! During my spring-cleaning, I donated a lot of bags that I did not use any longer. I wanted to keep a few bags that I would use often and I would switch out. I recently purchased a black bag from Fawn Design and I have not switched my bag since my purchase. This bag is actually a diaper bag and has many areas of storage. It also comes with an additional shoulder strap if you would like to wear it on your shoulder or cross over. I am able to throw all of my essentials in an organized manner. I’m pretty sure this essential will carry over in the next season or two…

Sun’s out, toes out! Sandals are one of my favorite shoes during the summer time. It’s so easy to throw on and you are out of the house in seconds! I realized that it was difficult for me to find a sandal that was comfortable and stylish. Some of the sandals that I find are flat and leave my feet uncomfortable. I stumbled across Teva when I saw that Jhene Aiko released a collection with them. I purchased my first pair of Flatform Universal’s from her collection and I could not stop wearing them. The shoes were comfortable, stylish, and a versatile addition to my wardrobe. I purchased a pair of Universal’s from her second collection and I was not disappointed. I rotate the two styles often and you rarely catch me without them.

Classic White Shirt

This classic white shirt has been a great addition to my wardrobe. It’s simple, clean, minimal yet versatile. This shirt is lightweight and breathable, so I am not severely sweating during use. I love being able to throw this on, fold my sleeves, and pair with my favorite boyfriend jeans. It’s such an effortless look but it looks like it took you hours to get ready. I purchased a size that was slightly larger so it can have more of a “boyfriend” feel. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and enjoy that it is part of my summer wardrobe.
